NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING

Town of St. Joseph

Notice is hereby given that the PUBLIC HEARING on the Proposed BUDGET for the Town of St. Joseph has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 7:00  PM in the Town Hall located at the intersection of County Roads V & E. the proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the town clerk’s office at the town hall on Tuesday through Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Thursday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Posting of the summary budget has been completed at the following three locations: The St. Joseph Town Hall, Countryside Co-op in Burkhardt and the Houlton Elementary School. The following is a summary of the Proposed 2018 Budget.

NOTICE OF TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS

Town of St. Joseph

Notice is hereby given that the Town Meeting of Electors of the Town of St. Joseph has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2017 immediately following completion of the public hearing on the Proposed 2018 Budget scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Town Hall at 1337 County Road V, Hudson, Wisconsin. This Town Meeting of the Electors, called by the town board pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1) of the Wisconsin Statutes, will be held for the following purposes:

  1. To approve the total 2018 highway expenditures pursuant to sec. 82.03(2) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
  2. To approve the 2018 town tax levy to be collected in 2018 pursuant to sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statutes.
  3. To approve compensation for elected town officials for the next term of office pursuant to Section 60.10(1)(b)(1) of Wisconsin Statutes.

A Special Town Board Meeting has been scheduled for November 14, 2017 immediately following the Budget Hearing, beginning at 7:00 PM and the Town Meeting of Electors for the Town of St. Joseph at the Town Hall located at 1337 County Road V, Hudson, Wisconsin.

Agenda Items

  1. Discussion and action will be taken to adopt the 2018 Budget.
  2. Discussion and action will be taken to adopt the 2018 tax levy.
  3. Discussion and action on approving the maximum highway expenditures according to §82.03(2) of Wisconsin Statutes.
