2. How do I get a dog license?

Licensing General Information
State
law requires all dogs to be licensed annually. All dog licenses expire December
31^st of the year they were issued. Pay in person or by mail to Town Hall, 1337 County Road V, Hudson WI 54016.  Proof of rabies is required.

Fees

1.  Regular Fee: January 1st  to March 31st.
2. Late Fee: Tag fees double for payment made April 1st to December 31st
3. New residents & New Dog Owners: 30 day grace period before late fees apply

3. When do I need a Kennel License?

Private Kennel Licenses 
Individuals with three (3) or more dogs or six (6) or more cats  must apply
for a commercial kennel license. All kennel licenses expire December 31^st of the year they were issued.

Individuals with three (3)  or more dogs or six (6) or more cats  must apply for a commercial kennel license. All kennel licenses expire December 31^st of the year they were issued.

4. How is my animal reclaiming fee determined?

First Offense: $100 plus actual costs 

Second or Additional Offenses per Year: $200/ea plus actual costs
