Hunting at the Town of St. Joseph Nature Preserve

Hunting is allowed in the Town of St. Joseph Nature Preserve. However, we are not able to give out any information regarding the DNR rules for hunting. Anyone interested in hunting must figure out when the hunting season is, what firearms they can be using and their limits etc. It is not the responsibility of the Clerk/Treasurer's office to look up these rules and interpret them for the individual. It is the hunter's responsibility as part of their hunting license.

Important Reminder:  Anyone accessing the Town of St. Joseph Nature Preserve is responsible for knowing where the lines are and to not access private property. The fences are not necessarily the boundaries of this property and again it is up to the individual to make sure they are not hunting on private property without permission.
